Need help canceling - No doctor available during work hours

I would like to cancel my account, please! I initially signed up for the membership at the Katy, TX location #28013, my mom had recommended your medical support while I was visiting her from Portland as we had just recently moved there from California due to the wildfire. The membership in Texas came out to be an extra $10 a month over Oregon but it didn't bother me because I received excellent service from walking into the door even tho the guy and as I was getting the adjustment by the doctor. Once I got back to Portland I was super excited to go but on multiple occasions, there were no doctors available which it's already difficult to get in as that my work schedule, traffic, and locations aren't all the most convenient. So on 2 occasions I just went straight home or work. My last 2 visits I had to drive to different locations once finding out again that no doctors were available. I'm honestly really frustrated because some are close to each other which is great but with traffic and waiting to get the adjustment because people are being rerouted to different clinics it's getting quite frustrating and I am honestly getting more pain from the frustration and the driving. to add to all that I find out that the locations here in Portland are closed on Sundays. So please cancel my membership and refund me for this month. I would definitely recommend you to my friends and family in Texas but definitely not here. The service when it is available is fantastic by the doctors here in portland but getting a chance to see one is the issue. I remember my last 2 visits where I was rerouted 9/4/19 Location on 14600 SW Murray Scholls Dr #102, Portland OR 97007 the girl at the front desk was amazing and referred me to other locations so you can see in my file I went to a different one. Today 9/23 I tried to go to the location of 21st street in Portland and after dealing with the traffic, finally finding metered parking and paying for it, I get there and find out there was no doctor so I was sent to one across the bridge. The doctor was amazing at the second location but this has become very exhausting. This whole experience has been more stress instead of relief of it. I sent this exact email to the Joint a week ago and have heard nothing back. It was Monday 9/23 to this email addressinfo@***.com please assist. Thanks

Horrible; total scam; not allowed to cancel membership; too many changes of doctors

Every time I go into the location nearest my home there is at least 1 different "doctor" there. Most of the time every "doctor" is completely new and has not been at that location. They rotate the doctors in and out like a circus clown car so you never get the same doctor more than once or twice. Some of the newbies are totally incompetent. A couple of the doctors couldn't even get my back to pop but would exclaim "oh, there it goes" like they heard it pop!! I would tell them it didn't pop and they would say "OH? I thought it did." When a good chiropractor would occasionally show up and do a good adjustment, they would be gone the next time I came in. Some of the newbies were much too rough and would actually cause more pain than when I arrived... and that would last a few days. Overall, the experience is not worth the money I paid for it. To top it off... they have no way to cancel your membership via phone, email, or through the website. They make you physically come into the location that you ORIGINALLY signed up at to cancel. They are a corporation and the locations are corporate owned... yet they won't share information or allow you to cancel at any location other than where you originally signed up. If you have moved away... too bad... you must go into the location. If your work schedule, job change or traffic won't allow you to get to that location any longer before they close... too bad... you can't cancel any other way. Therefore, you will be paying for this membership for the rest of your life. Not to mention that they can send you emails and increase your rate arbitrarily without you having to come into their office. But they won't let you cancel... which should be completely illegal. I will be filing a complain with the BBB and will be posting this complaint on every social media forum available.

Charged but didn't get the services

I went to TJC and signed up for one month. The next time I looked at my HSA account I had 6 months of charges. I didn't get a "hey why haven't you come in"? Just bogus charges. I have yet to get a refund even after I went in and canceled. The least they could do is contact the customer and ask if you want to continue to cancel. Vicious way of getting money.

I don’t understand why you have to go to the place where you opened your joint account to cancel it. And furthermore with technology today where you can cancel almost anything online why do you have to go to the trouble to go to your joint Center that you opened your account at! Very frustrating

Total ripoff!!!! If your not able to go in due to long hours they keep charging you. Wasted 3 months of money (over $200) because no one told me about the freeze the account option. Instead they just want your money !! Instead of trying to refund my hard earned money. They offer to put account on freeze for limited time. NO !! I WANT IT CANCELLED AND YOU NOT CHARGE ME ANYMORE!! Is what I told them. Dont sign up if you cant forsee the future and end up not being able to go because of work schedule !!!!! Would not recommend to ANYONE !!

Ruin my life from negligence

I have a herniated disc and my neck was sore. Heard about the joint went in first sessions for about a month for great. But every time I went in they had new chiropractors. my neck has arthritis sometimes I get pain and pulls on my head and gives me a headache I told the new guy . He said no problem we'll take care of it he twisted my neck so bad I've been in pain for two years now I've been to physical therapy the doctor about 30 times and finally I decided this is BS right after it happened I called and said I want I know I signed a contract but I'm not ever going to come there again nobody called me back I called corporate left messages nobody called me back no response on everything anything very lame company you will see yours what goes around comes around

Cancel in Person, they continue to charge your card

I cancelled my membership July 27, 2019 and was told by South Hulen staff that no other charges would be made to my card and by signing, all was completed. However, one month later, 8.26.19, they charged my card again for a cancelled membership. I think it might be time for a class action lawsuit on this group. See a real chiropractor if you want help, these Chiropractors are folks who cannot get a job elsewhere and the staff is highly incompetent, or this is how their corporate greed get the best of them.

I went in feeling like I had a knife stuck between my shoulder blades. the (so called) doctor cracked my knuckles on both hands, adjusted my pelvis and said come back next week. I told him I didn't feel any better than when I walked in and he said it probably will take several visits. I knew I had signed up for the 2 month minimum because I checked the box for a single visit and was told that they would not treat me unless I signed up for the minimum. When you fell like you have a knife in your back you will sign anything. I am obligated for about $139.00. I have ten visits left but I'm afraid to return. I went to Urgent Care the next day and they loaded me with medication that made me sick as dog. So here I am, still in pain with no one else to see. It is no wonder that Nevada is in the bottom five (nation wide) for health care.

I signed up for the 2 month minimum. They were very clear about it being a two month minimum contract and that I have to cancel in person. What they did not tell me was that it was a RECURRING subscription that would continue each month beyond the two months. Not knowing this, I thought that the in-person cancellation was for if I wanted to end before the two month minimum. I was charged for several months I did not get service for and after telling me over the phone that they would see what they could work out with me if I came in, they actually argued with me about what they told me when I signed up. And did not offer any kind of amends. The manager also admitted that many people misunderstand this very thing. Extremely poor customer service. There was also an instance that I drove out of my way to come one day and their one chiropractor had called in sick and they didn’t have anyone else to see me. They were unapologetic and insisted that I should have called ahead of time. But I was never informed that I should call ahead before coming for an appointment. I lost one of my paid weeks because of that. Again, poor customer service. Don’t waste your time or money here. It was not worth saving the few dollars at the initial visit.

I only get adjustments occasionally. Ive been a nurse for 25 years and sometimes need help getting my spine in place. Castle Rock location, rude doc from literal moment I walk back, rolling his eyes, quite bothered by my description of discomfort etc. At the end he told me not to come back !!!!??????????!!??? What businesses does that?? Poor, poor patient care and dangerous as far as Im concerned.

I signed a contract in Nov of 2017 and have been unknowingly paying 69 out of my HSA ever since totaling $1518.00! They don't send statements and wont refund. I gave them a chance to do the right thing.. They will now feel the wrath of hundreds of bad reviews!! I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

Unethical medical treatment

July 9, 2019 at The Joint Chiropractic in Longmont, Colorado. Extreme pain from usual back getting out of place from lifting a dresser. They usually put it back into place and I’m good to go. Now, their practice is to only do a partial reposition so that you have to keep returning to get what could have been done on the first appointment. I am so pissed off at this company that I could just scream!!!!! Unethical fools with patient comfort coming in last over repeated visit payments. GTH Joint!
